It does not take a long introduction to present the work of Halil Faïk.
So few lines suffice to say the rapture and the aesthetic emotion aroused, among a photographer who shares this cult, the celebration of the femininity with a delicate and sensitive sculptor.
His bronzes and terracotta, always inspired by the feminine theme, find with good humor a classicism too rare today. The silhouettes are clean, graceful, often slender and elegant lightness, but it also happens that the shapes and contours reach fullness irresistibly inviting to touch and caress.
The poses are simple and natural, devoid of any ambiguity. They range from awakening to dream, from dawn to dusk, from surrender to affirmation, from regret to hope, from meditation to incantation, from contemplation to offering.
